About our Club
Welcome to the Pleasant Hill Boat Club — a private, member-run 501(c)(7) organization located on the scenic north end of Pleasant Hill Lake. Founded in April 1940, our club was established to foster a shared love of boating and a wide variety of outdoor activities, from fishing and hunting to hiking and bird watching.
At PHBC, our mission is to bring together individuals and families who appreciate the beauty and adventure of the great outdoors. We value participation, cooperation, and mutual respect as the cornerstones of a strong and connected community.
As a working member club, every member plays an active role in the life of the club. Whether offering professional expertise, trade experience, or simply lending a helping hand, all members contribute to the upkeep and operation of our facilities and grounds.
We are committed to promoting safe and responsible boating practices in harmony with other recreational uses of the lake. Beyond boating, we offer a welcoming space for members, their families, and their guests to enjoy social events, outdoor recreation, and time together in nature.
We also proudly support conservation efforts in partnership with the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, encouraging a deeper understanding and appreciation of our shared marine and wildlife resources.
Come join us on the water — where tradition, community, and outdoor enjoyment come together.
