WIDOWS/WIDOWERS OF DECEASED CLUB MEMBERS

At the June 1957 meeting of the officers of Pleasant Hill Boat Club, the following ruling was made with respect to the above matter.
A widow/widower of a deceased Club Member shall be granted an honorary Membership for a period of one year.  This one year period to start at the time of the deceased members paid dues expire.  At the end of the honorary membership period she/he may continue said membership by paying the regular dues.  If she/he should re-marry, her/his membership shall be discontinued at the end of the dues period.

HONORARY MEMBERS

Honorary members are chosen by the Board of Directors.  These selections are based on the person being a retiree, and their past service to the club.  Possible candidates for honorary membership are reviewed two times per year.

HOUSE RULES (revised August 1987)
The object of this Club is to furnish recreation, relaxation, entertainment, and good fellowship for members, their families, and friends.  To accomplish this objective we must govern our activities so that the facilities of the club can be used and enjoyed by all.  Therefore, the following house rules are set forth and must be observed.

All members in good standing are expected to use the Clubhouse and its facilities in such a manner that will promote the spirit of community and to do nothing that will be inductive to the lowering of moral standards or the depreciation of our physical assets.

After using the clubhouse, you are expected to leave it in a clean and orderly condition.  All lights turned off, all windows closed, and the doors locked by the last member leaving.
Guests are always welcome.  Members are urged to bring friends.  A friend that is honored as a guest with such frequency, as to be fully sharing in the benefits of the Club, is expected to petition for Club membership.

All members are responsible for their own conduct and that of their guests.  The entertainment of friends and guests in such a manner that would infringe on the rights of dues-paying members will not be permitted.

The rules pertaining to safety conditions set forth by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District are applicable on both the water and grounds and will be enforced.

A user fee will be assessed for the use of the Clubhouse by a member for private parties which have been approved by the Board of Directors.  This does not guarantee the exclusive use of the Clubhouse.  Clubhouse usage must still be available to all members.  All decorations must be attached with masking tape only.  All decorations must be removed the same day.
